**Rural Sales Manager Role**

The Rural Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to increase sales of Animal Health products within rural territories through distribution channels.

This involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including end users, rural retailers, veterinarians, and agricultural department personnel. The role also entails delivering technical training events, detailing company products, and collaborating on marketing initiatives.

  • Strategic Sales Approach:
    • Optimise Annual Gross Sales in the Territory.
    • Develop and implement effective Territory Business Plans and execute associated local Sales Tactics.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Maintain robust enterprise relationships with leading End Users (Farmers) in the Territory.
    • Establish and maintain strategic personal relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Local Veterinarian Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and other Key Influencers (KIs) in the Territory.
  • Talent Development:
    • Complete all aspects of Organisation's Annual Talent Management process.
    • Ensure a comprehensive Employee Development Plan is in place to document desired Career Pathway and identify personalised training requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Tertiary qualified preferred.
  • Extensive commercial experience in a 'Sales' related role.
  • Demonstrable 'Sales' skills and 'Commercial' acumen.
