The Position

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be self-motivated with previous sales experience and the ability to work in a fast paced, highly demanding environment. Servicing both DIY and Trade customers you will demonstrate a professional work ethic and provide outstanding organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail.

This is a full-time role working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Company

Mitre 10 Goulburn is a local family owned organisation.  It is the largest of 4 stores which also include Goulburn Produce, Braidwood Rural Mitre 10 and Goulpro Power, employing over 95 staff in total.

Duties:

  • Provide assistance to trade customers
  • Assist with answering phone calls
  • Preparation and release of customer orders for delivery
  • Actioning sales orders. managing picking and packing and organising delivery schedules
  • Organising picking, packing and wrapping for delivery
  • Daily calls to customers to confirm delivery details
  • Operation of delivery dispatch system Truck Tracker and Delivery Management System (DMS)
  • Fleet management servicing

Skills:

  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload
  • High level of computer literacy skills with multi-platform skills i.e. email, Microsoft Suite, POS systems and the willingness to self learn
  • Preparation and invoicing of customer orders for delivery
  • Experience with operation of dispatch system Truck Tracker and Delivery Management System (DMS) highly regarded but not essential
