Job Title

An exciting opportunity to support the success of national studies focused on reducing dementia risk in culturally and linguistically diverse communities is available. As a key member of the research team, you will contribute to various tasks such as preparing amendments and governance documents, supporting literature reviews, and assisting with recruitment efforts.

About the Role

The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator and Project Manager to achieve project objectives. You will have the opportunity to work with inspiring people who are driven to make a difference and be part of a vibrant academic community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Support: Assist the research team with preparing ethics amendments, governance documents, and other project-related materials.
  • Literature Reviews: Support researchers in conducting literature reviews and identifying relevant data sources.
  • Recruitment: Aid in recruiting participants for research studies and collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Research Skills: Experience with database management, data entry, and export.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic language and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Cultural Understanding: An understanding of Sub-Saharan cultures and backgrounds.
