Principal Consultant: Expert in Workday Integration

As a seasoned Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technical teams. Your expertise in Workday integration will be instrumental in driving successful outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex Workday projects, with a strong understanding of intersystem problems and solutions. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively guide clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and client requirements.
  • Engage with clients throughout project phases, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems to Workday HCM solution.
  • Lead multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and changes.
  • Take charge of project leadership or Cognizant Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer roles.
  • Display hands-on expertise in software loading, tenant configuration, business process configuration, and security setup.
  • Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts, providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Participate in update training and share knowledge with peers within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience required.
  • 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience required.
  • 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software required.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management.
