Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lifestyle Services Specialist to join our team. As the advocate for the Lifestyle Services Framework, you will provide direct support to the home's lifestyle services team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the Lifestyle Framework and maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge
  • Supporting the development of creative and innovative programming approaches
  • Mentoring and coaching Lifestyle Services Coordinators/Assistants to optimise productivity and efficiencies
  • Assuming the role of the Lifestyle Service Coordinator where assigned and ensuring continuity throughout recruitment and leave

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and mentoring skills, acquired whilst working in aged care or other human services or healthcare field.

They will also have experience providing high-quality Lifestyle Programs to improve resident wellbeing outcomes and possess strong yet adaptable communication skills, resilience, and ability to prioritise.

Requirements

Essential qualifications include a Diploma/Degree in Diversional Therapy or related fields. Federal Police Clearance is also required, along with a driver's license.

Desirable qualifications include a Certificate III in Aged Care and/or Bachelor's degree in Health Science (Therapeutic Recreation).
