Job Title: Senior Project Officer, APS6
Description of Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for supporting the agency's Commissioners and senior executives in their engagement with Government, Parliament, policy departments, and other key external stakeholders. The role involves providing administrative support to track and plan key team priorities.
The Senior Project Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for Board and Committee presentations, briefing of senior executives, Commissioners, and government. They will also assist in the production of speeches, submissions, and other agency publications.
This role requires a demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize a demanding workload, engage and work collaboratively with other people, communicate complex issues simply, clearly, and effectively in different mediums, and research and analyze issues to assist with developing solutions and making recommendations in line with strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a relevant field, such as administration, regulation, projects, communications, and engagement. They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and work collaboratively with team members and internal and external stakeholders.
