Supply Chain Manager Role

The team responsible for managing third-party service providers plays a key part in First Sentier Group's success. This role oversees the relationships with suppliers across regions, ensuring high-quality services are delivered.


As a Supply Chain Manager, you will work collaboratively to drive strategic initiatives and negotiate with suppliers. You will be involved in resolving issues in complex fund structures and improving oversight using tools like AI and automation.


Key responsibilities include maintaining supplier agreements, leading performance reviews, and presenting insights to boards and committees. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas.


Additionally, you will conduct supplier risk assessments, monitor risk profiles, and maintain supplier data. Collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams is essential to align with global frameworks.


Requirements
  • A background in supply chain management or procurement, ideally within financial services, is required.
  • Knowledge of operational and enterprise risk, audit, and regulated environments is essential.
  • Familiarity with fund operations and corporate sourcing is also necessary.
  • Experience with supplier oversight tools, risk registers, and global outsourcing frameworks is vital.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, risk, or related fields (preferred).
