What You Will Achieve

As a Medical Affairs Enablement Specialist, you will partner with the Medical Affairs Team to ensure the implementation of country Medical priorities and operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks that enable the Medical Affairs team to make a real difference to the lives of patients. These tasks include project/event management, Expanded Access Programs, vendor maintenance, processing financial transactions and budget tracking, onboarding new starters and general administrative support.

This role aims to deliver an exceptional customer experience to our internal and external stakeholders, enabling our Medical Affairs experts to seamlessly engage with healthcare professionals, peak bodies, patient advocacy groups and other stakeholders while ensuring that the highest standards of compliance are consistently met.

How You Will Achieve It

  • You will develop subject matter expertise in compliance, managing financial transactions, adhering to strict operational requirements for Medical Affairs consultancies and other relevant engagements.
  • You will coordinate operations and logistics for Medical Affairs initiatives, ensuring compliant and efficient booking and oversight of all healthcare practitioner customer and consultant logistics arrangements for engagements and events.
  • You will maintain the global Expanded Access Program and support the Non-Commercial Supply of Medicine in Australia & New Zealand.
  • You will process sponsorships, educational grants and vendor transactions on behalf of the Medical Affairs team.
  • You will internal & external event management & booking logistics for Advisory Board meetings, patient engagements and speaker engagements.
  • You will provide financial oversight and project spend tracking.
  • You will complete administrative and project-related tasks that support the Medical Affairs team, such as managing distribution lists, booking meeting rooms, sending meeting invitations, organizing catering and other administrative duties.
  • You will deliver a great onboarding and orientation for new starters at Pfizer, including ordering equipment, name badges, business cards, etc.
  • You will provide dedicated support to specific Therapy Areas or divisions within the Medical Affairs department & a great customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm and passion for great customer experience
  • An eye for detail
  • Experience in project management and/or logistics and events planning management execution
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of working collaboratively across functions
  • Planning, prioritization, and time management skills
  • General digital competency
  • Tertiary qualification

Nice-to-Have

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience in the areas of company compliance and/or industry code, regulatory statutes, and standard operating procedures
  • Experience in business efficiency and operations, budget supervision and payment systems usage an advantage
