Disability Support Professional

This role involves providing support to individuals with Intellectual Disability and Complex Behaviours. You will work in a variety of settings, including in-home care and community access.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations and be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Supporting participants with their goals and aspirations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • 6 months of paid work experience in a similar role
  • Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination doses
  • Current Working with Children (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Drivers Licence

About This Role:

This is a casual agency role, although there are opportunities to evolve to a permanent part-time position within our organisation or transition to permanent employment with one of our host organisations.
