We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to lead our team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central, a dual-branded hotel with 473 rooms in the heart of the CBD.

About You

You will be an accomplished professional with a natural flair for delivering exceptional customer service. Your ability to 'surprise' our guests with your bright and bubbly style sets you apart from the rest. A confident person with strong knowledge of the hotel its and surrounding area, you can approach people and initiate conversation with ease.

Your time management skills allow you to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously while maintaining high awareness of security. With an outcome-driven approach to performance and results, you strive to achieve excellence in your field.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience every interaction, every day.
  2. Be proactive and resourceful when attending to guest requests, ensuring positive and productive interactions.
  3. Take initiative to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers, providing guidance and support to employees as needed.
  4. Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities to all employees, monitoring their progress and offering guidance on shift.
  5. Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues, prioritizing the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members.
  6. Be available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
