Imagine yourself as a custodian of outdoor spaces, nurturing and maintaining the grounds of our Retirement Villages around Shoal Bay.

As a Grounds Keeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of outdoor areas are well-maintained.

  • Maintain the upkeep of outdoor spaces within the Retirement Villages.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to landscaping, gardens, paths, and outdoor recreational areas.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive grounds maintenance schedule, including mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, weeding flower beds, and watering plants as required.
  • Operate and maintain grounds-keeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge cutters.
  • Ensure that all outdoor spaces are safe for residents by promptly addressing any safety hazards or potential risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support events or activities that involve outdoor spaces within the Retirement Villages.
