Job Title: Programme Support Officer

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to provide administrative support to programme participants residing at a supported accommodation facility as well as supporting homelessness services.

The programme is designed to replicate community living and is close to transport links, essential services and court precincts. Participants reside in self-contained accommodation units in a purpose-built facility with 24/7 staffing. Support is provided to maintain links to family, employment and other services whilst transitioning to long-term accommodation.

Our service supports people at risk of and experiencing homelessness across Adelaide.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with vulnerable individuals and providing excellent support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information to participants on support services and resources in the local area as required
  • Develop administration and reception processes to support programme operation
  • Undertake data entry input, including but limited to rent management of the programme as required
  • Responsible for the management of accommodation administrative processes including maintenance, room and participant belongings register and reporting cleaning requirements

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Business and Administration Services, Community Services, or a related field/or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic setting and able to follow instructions and directives
  • High level attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (including basic excel experience)
