Job Title: Lifeguard and Hospitality Specialist

We are currently recruiting for individuals to work as lifeguards, customer service staff, and duty managers at our aquatic centre.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a dynamic environment with flexible working arrangements that promote a healthy work-life balance.

  • Lifeguarding duties include high-level supervision of customers within the aquatic environment, providing clear direction, and ensuring safe operation.
  • Duty Manager responsibilities involve leading, managing, and inspiring teams with a positive attitude, open communication, and proactive multitasking.
  • Customer Service roles focus on welcoming patrons, processing transactions, and up-selling memberships and retail items.
Key Requirements:
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, presentation, and attitude
  • Current Blue Card (Working with children check)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current First Aid qualification
  • Current Pool Lifeguard certification
Lifeguarding Responsibilities:
  • High-level supervision of customers within the aquatic environment
  • Provide clear direction to ensure safe operation
  • Willingness to provide First Aid/CPR if required and incident reporting
  • Water testing, general cleaning, and other maintenance duties
Duty Manager Duties:
  • Lead, manage, and inspire teams with a positive attitude
  • First point of contact for staff
  • Open and clear communication between team members
  • Ensure safety, health, and well-being of patrons
  • Administration and financial tasks
  • Able to work proactively, multitask, and work well under pressure
Customer Service Roles:
  • Welcome patrons with an energetic and helpful attitude
  • Process transactions, including eftpos and cash handling
  • Upsell memberships, visit passes, and retail items
