Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the provision of high-quality mental health services for children and young people. Our team of skilled clinicians provides crucial consultation, brief intervention, and liaison support in a hospital setting.
About the Role- Assess and provide evidence-based interventions for children, young people, and their families to address mental health and substance use challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate early intervention, warm handover, and engagement for ongoing community treatment as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the capacity of healthcare professionals in caring for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in your clinical discipline. Full registration or membership of the relevant professional association is also required.
