Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health team at Delmont Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with mental health conditions, in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Provide direct care in controlled patient situations and perform established nursing procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment programs, in consultation with the patient's treating doctor and the clinical team.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records, in accordance with hospital policy and legal requirements.
- Diploma, Certificate, or Masters in Mental Health Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
