Job Title: Fitter/Boilermaker Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced boilermaker/fitter to join our team at the Glasshouse Mountains Quarry. The successful candidate will have a trade qualification as a fitter/boilermaker or extensive relevant experience in fixed-plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and repairs of fixed plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and chutes.
  • Communicate with the maintenance supervisor/leading hand to plan and prioritize repairs.
  • Execute repairs according to scheduled timelines and monitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in crusher, screening, and conveyor repairs with a background in fixed plant maintenance.
  • Preferably trades qualified in fitter/boilermaker.
  • Fitness for constant manual handling and ability to work within a small crew.
  • Willingness to learn and be reliable.
  • Certification in confined space and working at heights qualifications.
