The role of a 3-8 tonne truck driver involves operating vehicles to and from worksites and supporting general labouring tasks when the vehicle is not in use.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Transporting equipment, materials and personnel as required.
  • Operating the Hiab crane.
  • Maintaining daily checklists and ensuring the truck's safety and efficiency.
  • Preparing and executing programmed works for the team.
  • Assisting with general labouring duties when the truck is not in use.

Required qualifications include:

  • A current Class C and HR driver's license.
  • A current SafeWork NSW White Card.
  • Experience in road construction and maintenance operations.
  • Previous experience in concrete finishing and truck driving.
  • A current Traffic Control ticket is highly regarded.
