Job Overview

The role of Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Manager is responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements and the monitoring of systems and processes supporting accreditation elements.

This position aims to facilitate auditing both internally and externally in line with documented standards, providing direct guidance and information to internal stakeholders who operate under accreditation schemes.

The Accreditation Manager provides subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve common objectives or aligned targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development and maintenance of reporting systems, including self-service, incident management improvements, statistics, and dashboards.
  • Maintain and manage heavy vehicle accreditation, including facilitation of regulator audit programs.
  • Maintain systems, process, and assurance that support adherence to heavy vehicle accreditation requirements.
  • Manage relationships with other businesses associated with heavy vehicle accreditation.
  • Manage accreditation relationships with road authorities in jurisdictions where Team Global Express operates.
  • Provide direct guidance or information to internal stakeholders operating under accreditation schemes.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of an accreditation awareness education package for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain currency of knowledge of all heavy vehicle accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years heavy vehicle experience in a regulatory or operational capacity.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills in a high-risk operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritize components of a project, program, or portfolio of work in context with risks, activities, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to be thorough and accurate.
  • Capable of identifying key issues and implementing short-, medium- and long-term improvement strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and/or skills to guide and train others in identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and managing project and operational risks.
