Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process and Project Lead to join our Strategic Projects team at St Nicholas Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and performing diagnostics on business processes, practices, and projects to articulate gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyse and evaluate business processes, practices, and projects to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement solutions to address identified gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and map new processes to support the delivery of strategic objectives.
  4. Provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders on process improvements and project management.
  5. Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience in leading business process improvement, including the ability to identify risks, analyse data, and provide advice and recommendations.
  2. Ability to communicate ideas with both technical and non-technical staff, including the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
  3. Sophisticated interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability in managing complex projects with many interdependencies, to achieve quality project and process outcomes.
  5. Ability to travel to all services within and outside the Diocese as required.
Qualifications
  1. A combination of relevant experience and/or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  2. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  3. Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  4. National Criminal History check clearance.
