Job Opportunity: Csc Operator/Despatch

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to take on a challenging role in our Adbri Cement Packaged Products and Despatch team.

This full-time position will work predominantly day shift with the ability to work shift work and overtime if required. On offer is a rewarding salary package and the opportunity to develop your career with an established, market-leading Australian company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading heavy vehicles adhering to 'Chain of Responsibility' protocols.
  • Liaising with our Sales department to minimize vehicle loading times and maximize efficiency.
  • Operating and maintaining Cement and Drymix bagging machinery, adhering to Safety, Quality and Production requirements.
  • Loading and unloading materials and products to/from ships.
  • Performing manual physical work on the plant including cleaning.
Requirements:
  • Ambition and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Exhibiting a strong commitment to environment, quality, health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Possessing a desire for further career development with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Leadership aspiration and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Holding a current forklift license and MSIC permit (desirable).
  • Being physically fit and comfortable when working in confined spaces.
  • Showing initiative and succeeding when troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrating an ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous fast-paced manufacturing experience (desirable).
