Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operations to deliver health and safety services and achieve set objectives.
  • Lead critical risk verification audits and ensure compliance with established safety standards.
  • Develop and monitor health and safety management plans; provide training and support as needed.
  • Promote a safety-first approach through education and awareness initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on incident management and response to teams.
  • Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct internal safety audits and participate in external audit processes.
  • Oversee health and safety training programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Translate field-level insights into practical health and safety improvements for the organization.
  • Cultivate and manage a high-performing health and safety team.
Requirements:
  • A recognized degree or certification in occupational health and safety.
  • Health and Safety Auditor training course completion.
  • Qualifications in incident investigation, such as ICAM.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar industry and 5 years of team management experience.
