Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the delivery of enabling assets, including buildings and related infrastructure, as part of our Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or transport sector, and will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and implementation of new assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of enabling assets from planning through to execution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and Queensland Rail standards.
  • Oversee the coordination and integration of new assets into the Queensland Rail network, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth implementation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage risks, track project milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational regulations throughout the asset delivery process.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or transport sector.
  • Knowledge of asset delivery processes, risk management, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities, with the capacity to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to be agile and highly adaptable to changing plans/ targets.
