Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support clients with their independence and advocate for their individual needs.

The Role entails delivering personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, manual handling using equipment and aids.

Additionally, you will transport clients in wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars while monitoring their well-being and reporting on their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
  • Deliver personalized support including assistance at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication and manual handling using equipment and aids.
  • Transport clients in wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a carer or DSP or assistant in nursing or aged care (or similar roles).
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
