Bring Your Vision to Life as a Senior Compositing Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compositor with over 5 years of experience in animated feature films or live-action VFX projects. This highly skilled professional will play a pivotal role in bringing the Director's and Production Designer's vision to life by combining render layers from lighting to craft visually stunning images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Key Looks: Collaborate with the Lighting Department and Production Designer to develop key looks while maintaining continuity throughout sequences.
  • Collaborate on Shot Development: Work with the Lighting Supervisor to bring shots to life using both compositing and lighting expertise.
  • Meet Productivity Targets: Tackle tasks proactively, meeting productivity and quota targets with excellent artistic skills and a keen eye for color.
  • Design Innovative Tools: Design and develop innovative tools, pipelines, and techniques to enhance compositing workflows.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a team, taking direction well, and thriving under deadline pressures while solving technical challenges.
  • Mentor Junior Compositors: Mentor junior and mid-level compositors, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture and providing solutions to visual problems.
  • Professional Communication: Communicate professionally and diplomatically, maintaining confidentiality and respecting all team members.

A successful candidate will have expertise in look development for shows, sequences, and specific shots and/or FX. Strong knowledge and production experience using Nuke is essential.

Required Skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience in animated feature films or live-action VFX projects.
