Senior Collection Preservation Specialist

This is a key role within our organization where you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the collection, enhancing discoverability through complex arrangement and description of First Nations records.
Key responsibilities include:
- Metadata Enhancement: Improve metadata to increase discoverability of First Nations records.
- Research and Analysis: Perform research, analysis, and data manipulation for collection management.
- Arrangement and Description: Undertake detailed arrangement and description activities in line with Australian Series System and institutional standards.
- Community Engagement: Develop resources to support community understanding and access to the collection.
- Customer Service: Promote customer service, collaboration, and teamwork to achieve quality outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of services and resources.
