Quality Control Specialist Opportunity

The Role:

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing cGMP QC testing for Chemistry, release, and stability. You will also support Global GMP stability programs, stability sample set down, pull, and shipment/receipt activities.

Duties:

  • Perform routine analytical chemistry & stability testing (HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, Particle Analysis by Dynamic Light Scattering, KF, etc.).
  • Complete cGMP documentation for work performed.
  • Perform general laboratory support activities (reagent preparation, sample management, equipment maintenance, lab housekeeping).
  • Establish/maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
  • LIMS (LabVantage) sample result entry, Electronic Assay Forms execution.
  • Assist/execute ordering of laboratory consumables and supplies.
  • Manage/stoke QC lab supplies.
  • Perform stability responsibilities in compliance and in support of any stability program.
  • Create/review/revise stability protocols and reports.
  • Support reporting of stability testing results externally/cross-functionally.
  • Trend stability data and maintain current stability tables/charts.
  • Support stability sample shipments to external labs; retrieve stability testing data/reports from external vendors/shared folders.
  • Review/author applicable stability sections for regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain quality systems records (investigation, deviations, change controls, CAPAs).
  • Write/revise SOPs, protocols, and reports.

Requirements:

  • BA/BSc in Chemistry or other relevant scientific discipline.
  • 5-7 years experience in quality control laboratory of a pharmaceutical company.
