Electrical Maintenance Coordinator

In this capacity, you will be accountable for coordinating and scheduling preventative and corrective electrical maintenance activities to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and execution teams to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Raise work orders and manage backlog utilizing a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Prioritise tasks based on safety, production requirements, and asset condition.
  • Evaluate compliance with safety systems, standards, and regulatory obligations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning, scheduling, and reliability.
  • Maintain clear communication with operations and maintenance stakeholders.
  • Hold a trade or engineering qualification (Electrical discipline preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong planning experience in mining or heavy industry (fixed plant highly regarded).
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar CMMS.
  • Familiarity with Master Data management (plans, BOMs, cataloguing materials).
  • A solid understanding of electrical systems and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hold a current Australian manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Able to meet all site medical and induction requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Previous experience in iron ore operations.
  • Familiarity with processes used by major iron ore producers.
  • A rolling ongoing contract with a strong chance of going permanent.
