Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate preventative and corrective electrical maintenance activities to improve plant performance and minimize downtime. You will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and execution teams to achieve this goal.

About the Role

  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize CMMS systems (e.g., SAP) to manage work orders, backlog, and shutdown planning.
  • Prioritize tasks based on safety, production requirements, and asset condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and statutory obligations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning, scheduling, and reliability.
  • Maintain effective communication with operations and maintenance stakeholders.
  • A trade or engineering qualification in Electrical discipline is preferred.
  • Strong planning experience in mining or heavy industry, particularly in fixed plant settings, is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar CMMS systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with Master Data management (plans, BOMs, cataloguing materials) is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems and maintenance processes is required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
