About Nido Early School

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our team at Nido Early School. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to role model, coach, mentor, and engage in critical reflection with our exceptional team of educators.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to craft enriching curriculums and environments that nurture the holistic development of every child. Our school is committed to providing contemporary educational practices that benefit children, educators, and families alike.

Nido Early School is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and offers a supportive environment for staff to grow and develop their skills.

About the Position:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position commencing October 2025.
  • You will be working with children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play yards.
  • Our service has a bus stop outside, making it easy for staff to commute.
  • We cater for children from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • As a Curriculum Leader, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing curriculums that meet the needs of all children.
  • You'll work closely with our Executive Service Manager and Service Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculums that meet the needs of all children.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to educators to enhance their practice.
  • Maintain open communication with families about their child's development.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote a child-safe environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve exceptional outcomes for children.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a Diploma in Early Education or Bachelor in ECEC.
  • Have experience in working in either a Lead Educator or an educational leader role within childcare.
  • Be willing to support and guide the team.
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain.
  • Available to open and close when required.
  • Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators.
