Job Title: Leasing Financial StrategistThe Leasing Financial Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving business performance and developing financial strategies for leasing operations. This individual will work across the portfolio to drive income and provide strategic planning and decision support to the Head of Workplace.This includes delivering financial insights to guide long-term goals and strategies, leading budgeting and forecasting processes for Workplace's leasing, and working in partnership with the Commercial Performance & Planning team to introduce forward-looking executive reports applicable to Workplace's leasing.The ideal candidate will have Fully Qualified Accountant (PQE) qualifications and previous business partnering experience with demonstrable examples of outputs driving improvements and performance in a business.Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide strategic planning and decision support to the Head of Workplace, delivering financial insights to guide long-term goals and strategies focusing on leasing.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Workplace's leasing across the portfolio, ensuring that submissions reflect challenging but realistic forecasts with key assumptions benchmarked against internal/external best practice.
  • Work in partnership with the Commercial Performance & Planning team, introducing and developing forward-looking executive reports applicable to Workplace's leasing, with insightful analysis, metrics, and exception reports.
  • Act as the primary strategic partner to the business leads, developing action plans on monthly results to drive improved financial performance and introducing clear and concise options for the business on driving NRI through improved leasing.
Requirements:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (PQE) with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualifications.
  • Previous business partnering experience with demonstrable examples of outputs driving improvements & performance in a business.
  • Strong commercial acumen, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
