We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Distribution Manager to oversee our operations in Australia and New Zealand. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through efficient order fulfillment management and warehouse and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily operations including warehousing and transportation with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, reverse logistics and local re-labeling/redressing operations where required.
- Oversee the Order to cash process including sales order processing, master data maintenance and credit management to ensure timely order entry to support customer invoicing and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with global logistics and trade compliance teams to track inbound deliveries, including providing support for customs clearance, to ensure on-time delivery, goods receipts, and goods release for distribution.
- Monitor and assess logistics vendors' performance and review reports on operational metrics (Key Performance Indicators), including regulatory reporting requirements related to local warehousing, distribution and import activities.
- Ensure the requirements and business processes associated with goods are efficient and compliant with local regulations.
- Collaborate with accounting and logistics service providers to retrieve proof of delivery documents for end-of-month accounting purposes.
- Perform reconciliation at the end of each month of logistics service provider inventory transactions and inventory holding and compare to internal inventory management system holdings and transactions and investigate and rectify discrepancies and share with regional planning and quality teams where required.
