Senior Data Center Site Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to lead operational excellence in data centers across Sydney and Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of data center technicians to ensure efficient data center operation.
- Manage day-to-day operations and workloads for both locations, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Provide direct oversight and hands-on leadership as needed by traveling between locations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement data center policies and standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Linux systems, networks, storage devices, and other data center equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to operations.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
At minimum:
- 10+ years of experience in data center management, focusing on people and site management.
- Knowledge of DCIM systems, including installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
- Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, storage systems, network devices, and structured cabling.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
