Senior Naval Architect Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Naval Architect Leader to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our defence team, you will lead and manage the design, development, and assessment of naval architecture projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of naval architects, marine engineers, and designers
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship
* Oversee the conceptual and detailed design of vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
* Utilise advanced design software and develop innovative solutions to optimise vessel performance
* Manage multiple projects from initial design through final delivery, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in naval architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
* Expertise in ship design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Rhino, Maxsurf)
* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL)
