About the Role

This role is responsible for assisting HanRoy Project and Functional Departments with day-to-day commercial requirements. The role includes managing commercial processes from pre-award through to close-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial processes from pre-award to close-out, including tender/contract formation, contract negotiation, bid analysis, and contract administration.
  • Assist functional teams with day-to-day commercial and procurement activities, including contract management, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Maintain functional contracts registers and attend weekly functional meetings to assist the broader business.
  • Provide commercial support for HanRoy's projects, including pre-award, administration, and close-out.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in contracts administration for major relevant mining projects and operations.
  • Degree in relevant field such as Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Law, or equivalent experience in Mining or Contracts.
  • A basic understanding of Contract law and common law.
  • Proven skills in the development and review of bid and tender packages.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and commercial departures.
  • Able to drive change by influencing key stakeholders to enhance contracts processes.
  • Ability to understand and draft formal correspondence in accordance with underlying contracts.
  • Strong understanding of good commercial practice.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and external parties, coupled with strong influencing skills.
  • Good financial and logical analysis capability.
  • Excellent written report writing skills.
  • Computing skills in Microsoft Office packages.
