Data Analyst and Coordinator for NSW Construction Projects

About the Role:

Talenza is hiring a highly skilled Data Analyst and Coordinator to join their team in Parramatta. This 6-month contract offers a daily rate of $389 + Super.

Job Description:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data packages.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder requests for data and research.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Data Strategist to inform organisational Data Strategy and explore opportunities to develop mechanisms to support implementation of Data Sovereignty and Governance Principles.
  • Assist with initiatives that identify issues with quality and consistency of data collected and held by the organisation and its partner agencies to reduce potential limitations and ensure the useability of the data for analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain key internal and/or external data sets as required to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation.
  • Ensure strong collaboration and co-operative relationships are developed with program staff and other internal and external stakeholders to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation
  • In conjunction with team members, undertake and support data cleaning, extraction, analysis, interpretation, and reporting from external and internal data sets to inform service delivery planning and resource allocation, client outcomes measurement, organisational performance reporting and reform initiatives.
  • Support the design, development and implementation of performance measures, tools and governance processes to improve business systems/ processes and workflows and enhance organisational capability in analysing and understanding wider performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role either coordinating data requests and/or data system administration and data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating research and evaluation terms that can be understood by a diverse range of stakeholders and senior audiences.
