We are seeking a highly capable Data Analyst and Research Coordinator to join our team at Talenza. The successful candidate will have a combination of data analysis skills, coordinating data requests and an ability to adapt to understand cultural ways of working with diverse groups.

About the Role:

The role will involve leading the planning, execution and delivery of program packages, as well as coordinating internal and external stakeholder requests for data and/or research. This includes collaborating with the Senior Data Strategist to inform organisational Data Strategy and exploring opportunities to develop mechanisms to support implementation of Data Sovereignty and Governance Principles.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining key internal and/or external data sets, ensuring strong collaboration and co-operative relationships are developed with program staff and other internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, they will undertake and support data cleaning, extraction, analysis, interpretation and reporting from external and internal data sets to inform service delivery planning and resource allocation, client outcomes measurement, organisational performance reporting and reform initiatives.

About You:

  • You will have minimum two years' experience in a similar role either coordinating data requests and/or data system administration and data cleaning, analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating research and evaluation terms that can be understood by a diverse range of stakeholders and senior audiences.
