Project Management and Engineering Expert

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager and Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects within the water treatment sector.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for leading and managing engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from concept design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Engineering Activities: Lead and coordinate engineering activities, including procurement, subcontractor supervision, installation quality control, and other duties as directed by senior management.
  • Process Planning and Documentation: Manage process planning and documentation, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), site construction management plans, proposals, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety audits, design reviews, and hazard studies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, or related).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in project engineering/management.
  • Solid understanding of SHEQ standards and relevant regulations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within the water and chemical sectors.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Confidence in handling customer enquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (2D/3D modelling) highly desirable.
