Plant Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Horticulture department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Perform daily plant maintenance tasks, including watering, pruning, and fertilizing\
  • Assist in administering pest control measures and monitoring plant health\
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems, ensuring optimal water distribution and minimizing waste\
  • Support the Horticulture team with administrative duties, such as data entry and record-keeping\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and contribute to a positive work environment\
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices to reduce the facility's environmental impact\
  • Monitor and report on plant growth, making recommendations for improvement\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations\
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices\
  • Work closely with the Horticulture Supervisor to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively\\/ul>\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in horticultural activities or a related field\
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management\
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions\
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and circumstances\
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software\\/ul>\
