We are seeking a dynamic individual to partner with our residents in Rockingham. In this role, you will play an integral part in promoting their physical and emotional well-being by engaging them in meaningful daily activities. You will work closely with our allied health team to support residents in maintaining their functional abilities while encouraging them to use and develop their skills in ways that are personally significant.
Responsibilities include following care plans and providing person-centred support during therapeutic activities, ensuring all practices are safe and comply with Work Health and Safety policies, and encouraging family involvement in the daily life of their loved ones.
About youTo be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to connect meaningfully with residents and their families. While experience working with dementia clients is preferred, it's not essential. A Certificate III in Allied Health is desirable but not required.
