This requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including researchers and safety authorities, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing governance and compliance monitoring arrangements across your team and building effective relationships with internal and external partners.

This position plays a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and support for aviation operations used across the organization to achieve research outcomes. You will work closely with research staff to develop strategies that reduce risks from aviation and UAS research activities, while also promoting awareness of defense safety regulations within your team. Furthermore, you will oversee all aviation operations-related work health and safety documentation to ensure it aligns with organizational policies and provides value in supporting safety and research outcomes.
