Job Title: Leading Academic Excellence in K-6 Education

Salary: AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum

About the Role

Tradewind Australia is seeking an accomplished educator to lead academic excellence in a co-educational Catholic School near Marsden Park. As Lead Instructional Coach K-6, you will guide a team of instructional leaders and ensure seamless learning across K-6, with a focus on easing transitions into secondary school.

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with pedagogy coaches to align literacy, numeracy, EALD, inquiry learning, and wellbeing strategies, creating a consistent experience for all students
  • Overseeing the transition from primary to secondary school, ensuring cohesive pedagogy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment practices
  • Implementing inquiry learning methodologies that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and independent thinking
  • Facilitating workshops and developing resources for staff, parents, and students
  • Providing mentorship to educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice
About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Demonstrates expertise in instructional strategies, literacy and numeracy development, inquiry learning, and student wellbeing
  • Has strong experience in team teaching, coaching, and managing educational transitions
  • Is a collaborative leader, skilled in building partnerships with educators, parents, and stakeholders
