In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing campaigns that align with the Unions NSW Strategic Plan. This includes developing innovative strategies to promote the voice of working people in NSW.

Key areas of focus include Work, Health and Safety, and Workers' Compensation. You will work closely with the Secretary and other stakeholders to deliver outcomes that benefit members and affiliated unions.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Develop a winning campaign culture across the NSW union movement.
  • Position Unions NSW as the leading voice for working people in NSW through strategic campaigning.
  • Organise training and provide administrative support to the NSW Injured Workers Campaign Network.
  • Execute multi-union campaigns and growth action plans contained in the Unions NSW Strategic Plan.

Professional experience with NSW Work, Health and Safety or Workers' Compensation is desirable but not essential.

\Essential Criteria:\
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience developing and implementing growth, issues, industrial, and/or political campaigns in unions, advocacy, or NGOs.
  • Experience and capability to develop strategic and creative communications.
  • Commitment to the principles of the trade union movement.
