Part-Time School Age Educator

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Educator in a Before and After School Care program for students aged Kindergarten to Year 6.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work part-time, approximately 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 2:30pm - 5:30pm.

This role involves creating a safe and engaging space for students, working collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to create a positive learning environment, communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and stakeholders, and maintaining a valid Working With Children Check.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements:
  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in school age education and care or a related field.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a current first aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training, and the completion of a recognised child protection course.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 2:30pm-5:30pm.

The commencement date for this position is negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process.
