Emergency Veterinary Nurse Position

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled veterinary nurse to join our ECC team. As an Emergency Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our fast-paced emergency department. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in emergency and critical care while working with a supportive team.

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. You will also have a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anaesthesia monitoring advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
