
Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
• Reception duties including handling client queries, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts and providing an overall exceptional customer experience
• Animal handling and general nursing duties for hospitalised patients
• Maintaining excellent hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Undertaking general nursing tasks such as anaesthetic monitoring, patient admission and discharge, IV catheter placement and blood collection
• Assisting our veterinarians with a range of different surgeries and procedures
Essential criteria include:
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years' experience in veterinary nursing
• Passion for patient and customer care
• Excellent animal handling skills
• Knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Exceptional organisation, communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
