Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, families and visitors. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a high-quality food service is delivered, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and utensils
  • Provide a catering and kitchen service that aligns with the organisation's mission and values
  • Deliver genuine and professional customer service, working as a team player and maintaining a well-presented appearance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.

What We Require:

  • Ability to work on a permanent part-time basis
  • Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning
  • Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
  • Commercial cookery qualifications desirable
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role
