**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Finance Manager. This position offers a unique chance to grow and develop your career in a supportive community.

  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial service function of the organization, taking charge of advanced tasks centered around accounting and tax compliance.
  • This includes statutory reporting, tax compliance, preparation of monthly management accounts, day-to-day management of the finance team, cashflow management, maintenance of the fixed asset register, and monitoring of various financial metrics.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Accounting and Tax Compliance:
  • Preparation of financial statements, including partnership, trust, corporate, and audit of AFSL licensee companies;
  • Tax compliance, including income tax returns for partnership, service trust, and related corporate entities incorporating PAYG withholding/installments, BAS/IAS, FBT, income tax returns, payroll tax, stamp duty, STP reporting;
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Advanced degree in finance or a related field;
  • Professional certification in accounting or a related field (e.g. CPA, CA);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a similar role;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
