Factory Sorter

Shred-X is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Factory Sorter to join our team at our Wetherill Park Branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our recycling facility.

• Maintain a clean and organized facility, adhering to high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Empty archive pallets and bins, and ensure all stock is returned to its designated place.
• Operate shredding and bailing equipment in accordance with established standards.
• Check loads are secure and stack empty pallets to optimize storage space.
• Assist in the unloading and reloading of local trucks, and loading of export containers and semi-trailers to allowed load limits.
• Monitor and report any non-compliance with quality standards to the supervisor.

• Preferably holding a current Forklift licence.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to ensure service meets quality objectives.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
