At SHRED-X, we are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Factory Sorter to join our team at our Wetherill Park Branch. As a key member of our morning shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day operation of our recycling facility runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized facility at all times
  • Empty archive pallets and bins
  • Clean and repair wheelie bins
  • Ensure all stock is returned to its designated place
  • Check loads are secure
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Move goods packed on pallets or crates around the facility
  • Assist in the unloading and reloading of local trucks
  • Loading of export containers and semi-trailers to allowed load limits
  • Operate shredding and bailing equipment in accordance with standards
  • Check quality of incoming and outgoing materials and report any non-compliance to the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Preferably holding a current Forklift licence
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good Time Management
  • Attention to detail

Selection Criteria:

  • Undergo a Federal Police clearance check
  • Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position
  • Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations
