Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Compliance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving quality and risk initiatives across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective quality management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage risk registers, identifying and mitigating potential operational, regulatory, legal, and reputational risks.
  • Lead incident management processes, including breaches, complaints, data incidents, and professional indemnity claim notifications.
  • Liaise with leadership, practice heads, and service line teams to support risk mitigation and quality enhancement efforts.
  • Monitor staff compliance with independence declarations, CPD obligations, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a professional services, legal, or compliance environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of APESB standards, ASQM 1, ethical frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing internal reviews and dealing with regulators, insurance brokers, and legal advisers.

  • Flexible and willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
